The 5 Star quality River Lodge nestles majestically on the banks of the Bushman’s River and offers guests unrivaled luxury, hospitality and comfort, along with the most breathtaking views of the Bushman’s River Valley.

River Lodge can accommodate 20 guests in 10 spacious suites. The lodge is tastefully built out of wood, stone and thatch. All suites have luxurious beds, air conditioning; a ceiling fan; a mini bar and en-suite bathrooms with spacious showers and free standing baths. The suites also include; the Honeymoon suite which lies on the bank of the river as well as the Elephant House, a luxury two or three bedroomed thatched cluster away from the main lodge in a tranquil setting on the banks of the river. The Elephant House has separate living room/bar/kitchen/dining area and outdoor barbeque area with private swimming pool ideal for small business conferences or friends holidaying together.

The main lodge has a large open-deck that overhangs the river and offers views of the starry night skies over the sweeping flood plain. Fine food and fine wine round off the perfect African safari.

River Lodge, managed by Kariega Park Limited, offers a host of activities such as; game drives, hiking, fishing, crabbing, bird watching, canoeing, mountain biking, horse riding and the ever famous river cruises.
