Abo Shamani offers unique Photo Safari Packages for those people who want to maximize their photography while observing nature. Activities are designed and timed to make the most of photographic opportunities.

Since the animals of the reserve are calm it is possible to get up close to them and thus makes for great photographing opportunities. Where possible the rangers will try to give the photographer access to the photo subject

Photographers need not be limited to taking pictures on the reserve since the Abo Shamani team also makes trips to the pristine Kenton beaches, Bushman’s River, Dune Fields and Milkwood forest.

Abo Shamani organizes sunrise and sunset ventures in order to capture photographic images in the best possible light. In addition, during the middle of the day, when the light is at its harshest, relax and take part in the activities described in the Specialised Packages.

Photographic ventures will only be organized in small groups of photographers and the like-minded group will be given photo-opportunity specific attention.
